This wasn’t your typical concert—it was an interactive, family-friendly afternoon of storytelling and live music exploring Jewish musical traditions, Cincinnati’s rich cultural heritage, and the dreams that shaped history.

Chamber Music Network Board Member Rachel Kramer welcomed everyone to this new program and introduced our featured performers. First, Marie Krulewitch, accompanied by pianist Irina Bernadsky, led a sing-along of Tum Balalayka. Then, the Freylich Trio performed a few songs in Yiddish. Author Geri Kolesar read some selections from her book about how Isaac M. Wise came to America and founded many Jewish institutions in Cincinnati, and the Freylich Trio performed a few more songs. The audience was enraptured and very appreciative!
