Our season opening concerts, “Echoes of Home”, feature Shelley Washington’s “Middle Ground”, which the composer describes as “my refuge born from the land living in my heart”, as well as folk song and dance settings by the Danish String Quartet. The heart of the program is Dvorak’s famous “American” Quartet, which he wrote on a visit to Iowa while homesick for his native Prague. The concert is followed by a catered reception, and all proceeds go to our free education program. More...

Linton Chamber Music

The season opens in grand fashion with Spohr’s lively, beautifully scored Nonet for Winds and Strings with rising-star violinist Kristin Lee returning to perform with members of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and College-Conservatory of Music faculty members.
