ChamberPalooza!

 

ChamberPalooza! was thrilled to be back at the Cincinnati Art Museum for Family Fun Day on Saturday, September 3, 2022.

We were so proud to present the world premiere of "Hope is the Thing with Feathers", a new work for oboe, cello and piano composed by Alyssa Morris and commissioned by Chamber Music Network of Greater Cincinnati. The musicians were Sonya Szabo-Reynolds, piano; Jacob Martin, oboe; and Tom Guth, cello.

 

The ever-popular instrument “Petting Zoo” was located nearby for a hands-on exploration of musical instruments. Door prizes include tickets for upcoming musical events, CD’s and more!  Here was the lineup:

Palooza in the Library

Two new events geared to children and their families premiered in 2022: Palooza in the Library at the Price Hill Branch on Saturday, April 2, and at the Sharonville Branch on Saturday, May 21. Both events took place from 1:30 pm to 3 pm and 

featured chamber music performed by children and an instrument “petting zoo” for children and their families to explore different musical instruments in an area adjacent to the performance space. More...
